A building hosting students should have working WiFi that doesn't completely cut out every 10 minutes. The day I moved into this building I saw multiple car accidents because of how tight and cramped the parking lot is. The "amenities" are only there as a selling point, they are not maintained or cleaned. The elevators break down all the time and take a few weeks to be fixed. Front desk is kind. Good location
I lived at Fuse last year, and my experience was extremely horrible. From the beginning, things were difficult — my dryer broke down several times, and only after repeated requests was it finally replaced with a working one. The worst part was the ongoing hot water issue that lasted for months. Despite receiving multiple emails from management promising it would be resolved soon, the problem was never fixed. On top of these frustrations, there is a creepy maintenance person . On my last day in the apartment, he appeared directly outside my window and stared at me, which made me feel very unsafe. Overall, my time here felt like a complete waste of money. The management is unresponsive and incompetent, the appliances are unreliable, and I did not feel secure in a place that I leased. I would
Pros: Really close to campus, great amenities (gym, conference room, courtyard), great view, fast maintenance, spacious kitchen, easy to keep clean Cons: A little pricey, elevators break down every so often, thin walls, you can smell whatever your neighbor is cooking in the halls Overall, if you don't want to deal with Purdue parking permits, this is the perfect spot, especially for physics/aerospace/pharmacy classes. Also, you can go home and grab food then go back to campus and save money on buying fast food.
When I first moved into this apartment complex, I was actually really grateful. I had a housing situation come up unexpectedly, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful during my move-in process. At the time, it felt like I had made the right choice, and I genuinely appreciated the support and hospitality they showed. However, since that initial experience, things have taken a disappointing turn… One of the most frustrating ongoing issues has been the lack of hot water, not just once, but for long stretches of time without proper communication or resolution. It’s hard to feel comfortable at home when you can’t even rely on the basics working consistently. There’s also the issue of the hallways frequently smelling strongly of weed and sometimes mold, along with horrible stai
Living in this apartment has been a complete disaster, and I strongly urge anyone considering moving in to look elsewhere. The worst issue was when a pipe burst in the hallway, causing massive flooding that soaked the carpets, leaked into multiple units, and left behind a disgusting mildew smell for weeks. Water seeped under doors, creating a mess, yet management took hours to respond and did nothing to properly clean up afterward. The carpets were never replaced, and the lingering stench of mold and stagnant water made the hallway unbearable. Beyond the flooding, management is completely unresponsive and incompetent. Any maintenance request you submit will either be ignored or take weeks to be addressed. The elevator constantly breaks, the walls are paper-thin, and security is a joke—the
