First State Inc

We just completed a remodel of the home we purchased a year ago. PJ Bale and his crew did an exemplary job in the remodel of the entire main floor, including a new kitchen, adding a powder room, replacing the awful original flooring (which required going down to the subflooring to make the entire first floor all level) with hardwood flooring everywhere except the master bathroom. Numerous surprises were encountered when the walls were opened up, but PJ found solutions that met our satisfaction. He is a pleasure to work with and everyone on his staff, and his subcontractors, were friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Building a home can be stressful and choosing the right contractor/company can be challenging. My husband and I found ourselves in a situation where we needed to find a new contractor to help us finish our home when we were already halfway through the building process. We are beyond grateful that PJ Bale with First State Inc/Homes by PJ Bale was even willing to meet us a few months ago to assist us finishing our home. Here’s our long review to help anybody considering building a home with First State Inc (aka Homes by PJ Bale): - PJ is a quality home builder and builds better quality homes than the big builders in the area, his prices are reasonable and he’s a good person to work with. Maryann, our design consultant, was helpful and kind. - He has systems in place (like getting preapproved by their preferred mortgage company) before talking about a lot, customizations, making an offer, etc. In the end, it’s in everybody’s best interest. - He is well respected and anybody who we knew in common spoke highly of him. Can't say enough about PJ and the incredible experience we had doing business with him. He is with you through the entire process and works find the best solutions to any issues as they arise.
