Falling Creek Apartments

This was my first apartment after moving to Virginia, and overall the move-in process was very smooth. The application and approval process was quick and straightforward, which made getting settled much easier. I rented a one-bedroom, one-bath unit under a rent special, and for the price it was a solid place to start. During my time there I didn’t have many major issues with the apartment itself. I did see one roach shortly after moving in, but after that I never experienced any ongoing pest problems. Overall the unit itself was decent and I didn’t have any serious maintenance problems. One thing to be aware of is that the community can be a little noisy at times. She has excellent customer service skills, explains everything clearly, and shows great knowledge of her job. Thanks to her support and dedication, the entire process was easy, fast, and stress-free. Recently I had a broken door lock and nonfunctional garbage disposal in my unit. A maintenance person named Byron was dispatched immediately and within 10 minutes he had fixed both issues. Previously I had an issue with an electrical circuit in my apartment and a maintenance person named Ian was able to resolve the issue and made some good recommendations as well. Both of these guys were highly skilled and very professional/friendly in the way they treat residents as well. This apartment community has an excellent maintenance team.

Residents and Future Buyers beware. My car was towed wrongfully by this complex, costing me an $250 ticket. According to my lease, my vehicle is registered with management and therefore authorized to park on the property. Upon moving in, I was not provided a physical parking permit by the apartment complex, despite the lease specifying that one would be issued. My lease states that my permit assignment is my license plate number. In their lease agreement, it would mean my vehicle is authorized to park on the complex which management violated. The lease also states if the complex assigns a permit, residents must place it on their registered vehicle, which management also failed to provide me with one upon moving in. Management has stated to me that they sent out two emails regarding a per

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Do not move into this apartment complex. This is the first apartment I had to break my lease due to noisy upstairs neighbors kids, roaches and water leaks coming from upstairs. They also had a shooting where somebody was killed in 2024. The managers in office won’t help you with these problems cause they didn’t help me. And they’ll over charge you for a run down apartment. Stay away from this place I’m warning you!!!!
