Evergreen Apartments

Love the simply relaxing lake view and the easy to move around 1room bungalow type little house. All one floor no steps. Easy access to personal drive way . Bathroom has walkin shower and built in bench and handrails !! Seems like a safe set up to enjoy a relaxing shower without worrying about falling. Just an all around safe yet beautiful and relaxing atmosphere!! Neighbors seem pleasant! Just know this would be the place I would definitely love to call home for a very long time I feel a scents of peaceful independence like This was built especially for me!!!

Went to a rummage sale here, and the apartment from what I could see had a large garage, and small efficiency budget for people on a tight budget. The apartments are each small little standalone buildings, a couple were side by side apartments, however, most were single small standalone little house looking apartments that, when you get a closer look at it, you see that they are quite adorable! At the end of the road that goes down to the office with large laundry facility, when you pass that the apartments stop and there is this beautiful green space that overlooks Lake Michigan. Some people have set up table and chairs others have deck chairs or hammock type seating. I believe I saw a couple of grills - although I do not know if they were for community use or just the private owner - but

Manager is awesome! Super clean and the remodeled apartments are beautiful! Summer time is awesome here to just sit outside by the fire or by the lake. You can see the Kenosha AND Racine fireworks right in your own backyard on the 4th of July! It’s a great location to get around. You have a few restaurants/bars in a 1-3 mile radius. Somers House was my favorite to walk to! I highly recommend :)

We stayed here over 5 years! It was a friendly environment. Then a new manager came. He is a joke. Thinks hes above everyone. Rent was ok back then. Now he wants 800 for a studio lol. You are lucky if he ever snowplows, talk like a gentleman, or even talk at all. Ted and Pete are the owners who owns gateway cafe. I cant believe they let Roman destroy it.

I had checked these out a few years back and when I toured them before they were no good, between the horrid insides of the places for rent and also the community in general. But since then a new manager took over a couple months ago and re-modeled them all and now they’re absolutely gorgeous inside, also the new management seems to have attracted better quality people in this community. I’ve been here a few weeks now... was only planning on staying very short term but with the nice neighbors, brand new everything in all of the units and quiet setting I think I’ll be staying awhile 😁
