I don't even know where to begin when it comes to Estate Management. I have lived in my current location for 10 years, never started having a problem until 2018 when the company took over the building. I have been beyond stressed out when dealing with them, I have been nothing but courteous and fair and tried to work with them but it's gotten me nothing but hardship. Repairs do not get made in a timely fashion, there are many violations in this building which make it practically inhabitable, definitely a fire hazard and unsafe conditions. There is clearly mold in the apartment there are boards missing where you can see right into the basement. In my experience, Estate Reality was an extremely unprofessional and irresponsible landlord. They rented me an apartment that had a rat infestation, which made the unit unsafe and unacceptable to live in. The issue was not properly resolved. After moving out and leaving the apartment in good condition, they refused to return my security deposit and failed to provide a fair or timely explanation. I ultimately sued Estate Reality in court and won a judgment for my security deposit. When court officers attempted to enforce the judgment through a bank levy, I was informed that the account had been closed. They are horrible. They are greedy for money 💴. My experience. I have a realtor who found a one bedroom apartment for $1650. I was blessed with a section voucher 6 years ago just for myself. They submitted the apt as a 2 bedroom $1900 😮‍💨 Mind you I gave them a $500.00 deposit to hold the apt. Then when My worker informed me she denied the apt and why I went there to get my money 💴 but they said they were going to submit it correctly but they didn’t. This time they submitted still as a 2 bedroom but now at $1768 which is my voucher limit for a one bedroom and I pay all utilities 😳 again denied. 🙅🏽‍♀️ So i called them and told them i will be there today 11/18/25 to get my $500.00 back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I could put negative amount of stars. Moved out of 580 Saint Nicholas Ave on Dec 1. As of Jan 29 my security deposit has not been returned, no itemized deductions were provided, and $400 in overpaid rent is still owed. During the tenancy, maintenance issues I repeatedly called about were never properly fixed. Rent was always paid on time. This delay is far beyond a reasonable timeline. Document everything and proceed with caution.

My apt at 103 chancellor had all different types of smells, was unsafe, bugs, roaches mice and flies everywhere. The building deteriorated over the years. There were days with no electricity- MY FOOD ROTTED, multiple days with no heat and no water. They do not warn you, they do not accommodate you or even apologize. Estate realty /boomers hardly ever answered their phone and when they did Valerie would be rude/ unhelpful. Currently moved out and struggling to receive any type of confirmation, guidance and seems like they're trying to keep my deposit. All my calls go to voicemail! Avoid this place if you can afford to.
