Leasing nor maintenance will respond to you in a timely manner and by that mean that I have been complaining about the same maintenance issues since September and still have not had not resolved. Leasing office is aware of the on going issues and still has ignored me. The most recent communication was from them was reneging on promise to make my unit move-in ready as it was not upon move in and they still have not responded. I have been paying for two working showers when only one works since I moved in four months ago. Also since I moved in a window lock is broken and has been broken; all that I've heard is the building blaming the window vendor for months now without resolution. The building has known of this and has not done anything about it. Pretty building. Save yourself the headache

Came a bit late due to a family emergency and had a hard time finding parking in the area — only to be told my tour was canceled because they’re “strict about timing.” Honestly, it’s just a tour. Even if they didn’t want to show the full property, the least they could’ve done was show the unit since I took the time to come all the way there. Most tours last around 30 minutes anyway, so shortening it would’ve been a reasonable solution — canceling it entirely was unnecessary. The whole experience left a really negative impression of the leasing and management team. I won’t be rescheduling, because if this is how they treat potential tenants before you sign, I can only imagine how things would be after.

I’ve never left a review before but felt compelled to. After a great tour with Chris I applied online and paid the processing fees plus a $500 holding fee. After that I didn’t hear anything for over a week. When you call, everyone is out of the office or unavailable. After emailing them asking for a refund Chris conveniently called me. I called back about a minute after we hung up only to be told he was out of the office. After another week of repeated calls, today I am told that a check will be sent to me in up to 45 days. For the price and the neighborhood, got to white plains or a different building. I applied somewhere else and signed a lease within a week. If you’re loaded and you want to live somewhere where you’re a burden to the staff, then try applying to Encore.

We toured Encore on October 5th, and it’s honestly unfortunate that our leasing experience overshadowed what is otherwise a beautiful property. To start on a positive note, the building itself is excellent. The apartments, amenities, layout, and overall atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. Out of all the buildings we toured, Encore stood out as one of the strongest options for us. That’s what makes this experience so disappointing. We scheduled our tour specifically to see a particular 2 bedroom 2bath layout (BR1) that the website clearly showed as available to tour. When we arrived, the leasing agent asked if we were flexible and open to seeing another layout (BR2) as well.
