Elliot Apartments on Abernathy

If you’re a roach lover, this might be the perfect place for you. Unfortunately, for anyone else, living here has been extremely frustrating. I have been living in this apartment complex for the past two years, and this year has been the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in any apartment I’ve lived in. My apartment is currently infested with roaches. I went to the management office to report the issue and asked them to take action, but nothing has been done so far. The situation has gotten so bad that I have even found roaches on my bed, which is completely unacceptable and extremely disturbing. I also informed the management team that there appears to be a nest inside my apartment because most of the roaches I see are very small, which usually indicates they are breeding nearby.

I am very satisfied with the maintenance service provided by the complex. Shane the Jamaican operator is kind and does a great job with all the tasks I need repaired and trust me I need help. He comes kind and respectful and knowledgeable on kitchen bathroom and room repairs. I’m pleased.

The team here is professional and caring. The apartment is beautiful - I love every inch of it. If I ran into any issues - they were quick to fix and very friendly. I appreciate the quick responses from the office - I had nothing but a great experience with Quan and Talia (I apologize in advance if I mispelled names) but they were fantastic.

703 resident.... I reported several work orders for the repairs that were needed in my apartment, The maintenance person Shane He did an excellent job with each of the repairs he made. We have been residents here since February 2024, and unfortunately, since renewing our lease, our experience has gone downhill. We’ve had a constant problem with roaches and spiders. Pest control is almost useless—it took nearly a month for them to come out, and when they did, it was like they were spraying water. Maintenance is hit or miss at best. The biggest issue, however, is the outrageous water charges. In all our time here, we have never seen a water bill close to $200. It seems like we’re paying for everyone’s usage, not just our own. Our base rent is $1,429, but with fees and water charges, we’re paying over $1,729. That simply doesn’t make sense. When I’ve gone to the office for answers, the staff has none. They usually disappear to the back, supposedly to ask Quan, the manager
