I rented from Eagle cap from July of 2023 until February of 2026. I have absolutely loved working with the ladies in the office. They have always taken my concerns seriously and taken action to resolve all issues in a timely matter. I am sad to go as I have loved my basement apartment for almost three years. It was cute, spacious and minus the loud neighbors in the house above( eagle cap did their best to remind them they have a neighbor downstairs) it has been an amazing time. I don’t understand the negative reviews as I’ve never had a bad experience with them. If you follow your lease rules and be respectful to them ( they don’t deserve any disrespect as they are just doing their jobs, they don’t make the rules) you will be just fine! When asking about their listings they will tell you that "rent begins from the date the property is available". What they actually mean is that rent begins from the date you sign a lease, and they want you to sign a lease as soon as you are approved for the property in question and will not wait up for you if you don't, regardless of when your move-in date is. It is highly illegal under Oregon tenant law to charge retroactive rent from before a tenant signs the lease and is given access to the property. I asked multiple times for clarification about this and I can only describe the response I got as intentionally misleading. The reason they do this is to try and time pressure you into jumping on a rental as soon as its available, and will deliberately avoid clarifying what they actually me

I am very happy to have worked with Sarah, Rosa, and Jenny. These three women made the rental application process very simple, straightforward, and handled each of the hurdles with great professionalism. They treated my wife and me as if we had been long time friends. I am proud to have found as rental property through Eagle Cap Realty and Property Management. I've been renting from Eagle Cap since August. They have always been responsive to complaints and concerns. They have been timely on maintenance. They hired a new employee who is awesome! Rosa made a great choice hiring her. She is kind and respectful. The staff has been respectful and kudos to Rosa saving me in the middle of the night when I got locked out of my unit. The prices are fair on rentals in my opinion.

Wished I would have read the reviews before applying. Applied. Got denied, recently went through a divorce and have been struggling financially… trying to get out of an over priced apartment to a very small town closer to my work. Fixed things they asked for, reapplied… denied again… haha. They discriminate. Will add the text I received from Rosa. They lead me to believe if I cleared up back rent I’d be considered… Good luck renting a house in Elgin Oregon for 1650 this place is a joke and stay away from it.
