I cannot say enough wonderful things about Delann at Drakes Pond. She is truly an angel. After another complex kept telling us the keys were ready, only to repeatedly delay the move-in after taking a $200 deposit, I was overwhelmed and in tears. My son had just been blindsided in his personal life and urgently needed a stable, safe place to live as a full-time professional. I called Drakes Pond at 10:30 a.m., and Delann answered. By 11:30 a.m., we had toured two apartments. By 1:00 pm, he was approved. By 5:00 pm, we were starting to move him in. Delann was kind, patient, understanding, and genuinely welcoming. We have overall had a very pleasant experience here at Drakes Pond! Maintenance has been very pleasant to work with and always gets back to us in a timely manner. Shoutout to DelAnn at the leasing office! She has been amazing as well. You get amazing space for the cost of rent, and they have great amenities as well. We especially love the in-unit washer/dryer. I do have some negatives which brings down the rating. The company has not been very good when it comes to weather related maintenance. Last summer, we were left with no A/C during Southwest Michigan's historic heat wave for over 5 days. We contacted the emergency maintenance team as well as the leasing office. The emergency maintenance guy rudely identified that Air Conditioning is NOT an emergency, and it will be fixed when it is

I cannot say enough good things about DelAnn. I was navigating the apartment search under special circumstances, and she went truly above and beyond to support me and my kids. She was incredibly patient, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us find the perfect place to call home. Her kindness and dedication made what could have been a stressful process feel manageable and even positive. I am so grateful for her help and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a place.

Wanted to extend a thanks to Delann, Lisa and Jack in the office who always go above and beyond for us in every way! Their quick response to our needs makes us feel truly taken care of, which isn’t always easy to find in the world of rentals. Also wanted to shout out Steven in Maintenance who has tackled a couple minor concerns in our apartment kindly, considerately and quickly! When i first moved in, i had issues with one of the leasing agents not really taking the time needed for me to have a comfortable transition. Although after the company had parted ways with that person everything has been a breeze and very smooth. Regardless of anything that’s happened regarding any sort of business our Maintenance Man Stephen is one of the hardest workers and most down to earth people I’ve ever met. He is someone who takes his job seriously solely because he wants to take care of other people, and should be given the recognition that he deserves.
