Cedar Trail Apartments

I recently moved out of Cedar Trail Apartments and I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was still under lease for a few months but planned to do the right thing pay my rent for the last two months until my lease was up. Instead, the property managers Alicia and Laura decided to tack on unnecessary processing and eviction fees just because I didn’t return my key a couple of days before my lease officially ended. Even though I had been communicating with the office about moving out and paying my balance, they still went ahead and filed an eviction knowing I was leaving and planned to pay what I owed. Then they turned around and canceled the eviction as soon as I turned in my key on September 28th, 2025, which was two days before my actual move out date of September 30th. A

I initially rated Cedar Trail Apartments 3 stars due to a rough start when I first moved in. On my first day, I experienced several issues—my bicycle, which was parked inside the apartment premises, was stolen, and I also lost some Amazon parcels along with valuable ornaments shipped from another country. However, after raising these concerns, the management, especially Alicia and her team, took proactive steps to improve security and address the situation. Their response and the measures they implemented have made a noticeable difference, and things now seem to be in much better shape. Thanks to their continued efforts and the positive changes, I’m updating my rating to 4 stars. I appreciate the management’s dedication to making this a safer and more comfortable place to live.

I lived here for 7.5 years, there were some issues but if there was ever a maintenance problem I never waited longer than a few hours for a fix and the management is top tier, I would recommend for anyone looking for a budget friendly complex. They'll take good care of you.

I lived here for 2 years and loved it. The only reason I moved out was because I no longer wanted to live on the third floor and wanted more space. I only called for maintenance maybe 3 or 4 times my entire two years of living there and they were very minor issues. The office would tell me that maintenance would be there within a day and he usually showed within an hour. The rent is reasonable for the space, the grounds are kept up, and the staff is very friendly. It was also pretty quiet where I lived. They gave plenty of notice for routine maintenance checks. If I had any areas of improvement to mention it would be that the walls are pretty thin (but that would probably be any apartment) and I could always smell what people were cooking (even if they were on the first floor). I still tell people about this place years later for a good story. I got an eviction notice after I made several complaints about cockroaches entering through the vents from a first floor apartment. Not to mention the leasing office manager allows her "friends" it you will from wherever to use the pool even though it is for residents only. Luckily it worked out and I was able to take the free early move out and purchase a house.
