Dexter Park

Dexter Park is a decent apartment complex with above average units at an above average price. It is a well equipped but aging facility and has a very large and loud college student population paired with thin walls and lots of parties, music, and smoking. It’s a nice place to live but know what you’re getting yourself into. Management is great with some issues and not so much with others. They and the maintenance team are very helpful and quick to respond. On the other hand, management will respond to other issues such as noise complaints but oftentimes do very little to help with obnoxious tenants. I have lived in Dexter Park for some time now and I must say the Management is super responsive! Any problem I have had I have gotten an email response within a few hours and any maintenance request has been fulfilled within 24hrs of submitting the request. The apartment itself is in a perfect location and an awesome proximity to Coolidge Corner. There is such easy access to the Green Line as well! Overall, I have enjoyed my time in Dexter Park so far and would recommend!

Dexter Park is, without exaggeration, one of the most poorly managed apartment complexes I’ve ever dealt with. The level of incompetence here is astounding. I pay for parking, and they still towed my car from the lot I’m paying to use. There were no clear instructions, no assigned spot, and no warning. They made a mistake and I was the one who paid for it — literally. To make it worse, they didn’t even bother to notify me when my car was returned. I found out hours later. Completely unacceptable. Management is unresponsive, disorganized, and dismissive. They enforce rules inconsistently, provide conflicting information, and take zero responsibility for their own errors. Kristofer Bowdidge went above and beyond to help during a snowstorm by allowing me to park in the underground garage for convenience and safety, at no cost. His responsiveness and consideration made a stressful situation much easier. Excellent service and support.

I have lived in Dexter Park for over 10 years and I almost never asked for anything to Maintenance, but when I do. They come almost immediately to take care of whatever I need. My last request was to change the blinds that I had since I moved here and the maintenance person came right away, took the ones were old and dirty and place new ones in no time. Thank you so much. 3/18/25 I am adding more comments as I have a good experience again, Luis came by to check if I was getting water through the frame of the window in my bedroom. I was really concerned being away and with the heavy rain we had yesterday, with the possibility of having water on the floor were the cables of my work area are. He also changed the bulbs in the bathroom. Dante came today and he replaced the batteries of the carb
