3/1/2026 After being a resident for more than two years and having the same dog that is originally on my lease. I need to pay a 400.00 per deposit . After being informed that no deposit is necessary by Marco .Today march 1 two years after living here a pet deposit needs to be added to the rent. Two years of conditional deposits at 36 bucks a month wasn’t enough.Making up charges because you can’t rent units is crazy . This is my last week in rockstar the incompetence of the staff has been enough for me. They can have it. It’s nothing else to talk about. The stupid office staff is the reason yall can’t lease any apartments or keep current residents.ONLY MOVE HERE IF YOU WANNA AGREE ON A PRICE AND NEVER CHARGE YOU THAT ITS ALWAYS MoRE MONEY MONTHLY. Im glad they got a new manager at Deerbrook Forest. I believe her name was Sydney. She said she hasn’t be there long but she seems like she actually likes her job and cares for the tenants. She is way more knowledgeable than the previous lady that helped me. She handled my concerns professionally and made the process easy and quick . I’m happy to talk to someone in the office that doesn’t make it seem like they’re just trying to get your money.

I had to file a complaint with HUD for the violating multiple codes in the fair housing act. They lied to me and my spouse multiple times throughout this application process and went out of their way to push back our move in date. I have a job lined up at the Fire Department and now I don’t have a solid place to live because these guys told me not to apply any where else during the application process. When I called them out for discrimination my application gets immediately denied and refused to refund my application fee sending me to corporate who never once picked up throughout this entire process. Deerbrook Forest Apartments is by far the best apartments I leased and I planned to stay for sometime. The staff Sidney & Wendy our authentic, approachable, and professionals at the office. The grounds kept up well, the pool is maintained. It may take time for maintenance to be arrived, but is on point in completing the maintenance requested. Surprisingly, compare to other apartment complexes. The units in Deerbrook Forest Apartments are spacious. So due to these factors is why I give Deerbrook Forest "Five-Stars".
