I lived in one of Currey's properties when I was an intern, and between the wildly overpriced rent and woefully insufficient insulation, my roommate and I basically froze all winter and still had heating bills in the $400 range. Do not rent from this man - his units' single pane windows, unsealed fireplaces and baseboard heating guarantee your $800/mo rent will turn into $1200-$1500 just to keep yourself warm and keep the other utilities paid. I felt horrible for the couple downstairs with a baby - the baby cried constantly because it was so cold inside. Broker Mat Currey personally feels that no one should have screens on their windows. Even though these are required by law, Mat Currey doesn't provide them to his tenants. Mat Currey takes a strong stance against window screens. He is even willing to risk his real estate license by disobeying the law and forcing tenants to live without screens. Renters, if you love mosquitoes, and hate window screens, this is the realtor for you. Landlords, if you would like your property overrun by insects, hire Mat Currey to manage it. He will make sure that bugs quickly overtake the place. He has been very unprofessional and unpleasant to work with, but for those who enjoy the company of flies, this is the realtor for you.

My experience with this company was pretty unsatisfactory. Mat Currey is very unorganized, sloppy, and unprofessional. He was a half hour late to my showing, when something came back from my background he did not like he completely dropped contact with me without any proper closing message. Very unhappy
