Crowne at James Landing

I’ve been for just over a year and I really love it! I love how close it is to everything yet the complex still feels “secluded” and not like it’s right on the main highway. I love that it’s gated and kids friends with the pool and playground. I adore the fact that it’s in the Florence elementary school district. My ONLY complaint is that parking is terrible and you usually end up having to park far away from your apartment. The rent is a bit steep but I feel safe being a single mom here so it’s worth the peace of mind. The staff is friendly as well and always doing find things for the residents. Definitely recommend.

I have a very strong love for Crowne at James Landing. I will provide 2 reviews, one emotional and one functional. I moved in to Crowne in 2022. Shortly after, I met a very kind neighbor right across from me, and we became quick friends. He and I fell in love in this very apartment complex (sounds like a joke, but I'm serious), spending time together at the pool, the gym, and taking night walks. He proposed and we are going to get married soon! You might not meet your "person" here like I did, but it is a testament to the lovely community of people that live here overall. The people here are kind, friendly, and considerate. My functional review. I have had no problems with this place. Nice and peaceful neighborhood; you might hear a loud car here and there but it’s pretty nice. Maintenance is pretty quick with the responses. I just lay low and lay my bills lol.

The staff is absolutely on point. If there is a fix or issue needed it is addressed immediately and to the tenants satisfaction. I have been living here almost 2 years now and I have lived at several properties but this is the only one that I would rate 5 ⭐️’s n every category. The staff is very polite and treats you with respect and that is a direct reflection of the leadership provided. The one thing I do like is the property manager and her assistant manager keep this place clean and manicured. Great place to reside 👍

The reviews about them ripping you off after you move out is so true. I stayed here a little over two years. Six weeks after I moved out, I was hit with charges for things that had normal wear and tear. Everywhere else I’ve lived in Greensboro never had charges for normal wear and tear. I was never late on a payment - I paid early. They really do not care about you once u leave. They treat great tenants as if they were bad tenants. You would think they would want to leave u with a pleasant experience in the event you ever considered moving back. I will never ever move back here after this. My worst apartment experience ever.
