Crown Pointe Apartments

This apartment is owned by GRE Communities, a notoriously bad management company. You better hope nothing breaks. Service will be 6 months out if they even come to get it. We have had Service Requests since we moved in that were never addressed. When they do address it, they’ll address it poorly. They’ll say Mold is mildew, the screen door it took 8 months to get fell off the same day it was put in. We are paying above 1800$ a month and there are no shelves or handles on the cabinets. Just poorly painted plywood. The crime in the area is high as well. There used to be a homeless camp in the park behind the apartments before the new construction, they have since moved three blocks down into Oak Tree Hill. I have never had a more horrible experience living somewhere in my LIFE. They will tow your car without batting an eye (EVEN IF YOU MOVE IT WHERE THEY TOLD YOU, YES I DID MOVE IT EXACTLY WHERE I WAS TOLD AND THEY STILL TOWD MY CAR)and it took $500 to get it back. There is black mold in the bathrooms that they will insist is “mildew” (pics included) The wood is rotten (wood peckers only choose rotten wood, and one pecked for WEEKS above my head) Tabitha is the most cold-hearted, non-caring, smart mouth manager who needs to be FIRED. I don’t know what kind of scam this apartment is running but this places needs to be looked into legally. I am extremely kind, polite, I don’t scream at people, and I’m always the kindest person to people who are dealing with my HOME. There was never any reason

We had such an amazing experience touring, applying for, and moving into our new place here. Jo took amazing care of us, gave us so many options, and answered all of our questions (and I ask too many sometimes). Very upfront, honest, and so kind and thoughtful about following up with us and working with us. The unit we have is so beautiful and spacious and just what we want, but honestly it was Jo who really got us to commit to moving—and we are so thankful for him!

Bad place to live. My car was stolen only to find out when I reported it that LPD already had this complex under surveillance for an auto theft ring. We've had 4 different managers in the last two years. That's an average of 6 months each. The complex itself is dirty. Trash everywhere and the trash bins are always over flowing. Some of these tenants have three families living together and everyone parks where they want. The children leave trash and debris all over and the parents don't care. GRE is the property management company and they are a joke. They don't give two squats about the tenants. I scheduled an appointment to come by to see any of the available units. The lady on the phone asked me to make sure I replied to the confirmation text so they would know if I wouldn’t be showing up. I confirmed I would be showing up and showed up half an hour early. We waited outside the office, and understandably were way too early to the appointment, but had to Uber there and didn’t know if traffic would be terrible on the way. A guy came around, who I assume is maintenance and asked if we we’re waiting for the lady. He said that she had told him she wasn’t going to show up. A courtesy call would have been nice.
