Cove Village

Do not move here. I lived here for three years and every year it got worse. The mice stay like they pay rent. The rat holes were right outside my apartment. Garbage everywhere. They were told they needed to drill mouse poison into my walls when I was 6 months pregnant. It didn’t happen until my baby was three months. But, I will say they will not put you out.

The walls are very thin, so thin t you can hear your neighbor's coughing or even having sex in the next unit. Everyday there is trash, old beds, broken tvs etc on the sidewalks. (Thinking about moving in? check out the property at night) They dont offer 24 hr maintenance, the maintenance staff are nice but very incompetent(they painted over mold, and couldn't seem to figure out why my kitchen ceiling kept leaking so they never fixed it). If you lift up the carpet you can see holes in the floors and walls (no wonder so many residents complain about mice, small lizards and bugs that I've never seen before. The unit's are very small. I am leaving one star only because I can’t leave ZERO. There has been a water break for more that 24hours now. The leasing office said they have no idea on when the water will come back and they can’t do anything about that. Can’t compensate, can’t give any information because they don’t know anything. I asked her what solutions do they put in place as a management? She told me to go buy bottled water to flush my toilet and to take showers. So how many bottles will I need for my husband my little sister and me to take showers, flush, cook, eat? “Oh I have no idea” I’m 8 months pregnant. No water for more than 24 hours. Let that sink in. For the amount of rent you pay whether it's a 1 or 2 bedroom its actually equivalent to apartment complexes. But there's a upstairs instead of all 1 floor like apartments...yes there is a trash issue but it's not to the point where its sits for weeks on end...theres a mixture of different nationalities that reside here...maintenance is slow at times only because theres a lot of little issues that can be easily taken care of...some tenets think that this place needs to be maintained like the Hilton Hotel...Sorry but Paris doesn't live here...Every place has issues, if you have the patience and are nice to the rental office I would think that they would see to it that your issues would be resolved in a timely manner...rent is not cheap these days and the homeless population doesn't need to

This place do not take care of their property. Maintenance sucks. The walls are not insulated so u can hear everything on both sides of you. Their are ants all over the house. Called maintenance to get pest control and they don’t come. There are guys selling drugs in front of our houses and kids just recently there was a shooting in front of our home with the kids outside and they shot in the neighbor house and my door. The bullet hole is still there. There is raw Sewage coming from the ground outside of our apartment and it took four days for someone to come out here to clean it off the ground do you know how Raw sewage can make a child sick.
