Cottages at Crowfield

The community is not like the average apartment complex. It is more like a housing development(just with duplex/townhomes). Everyone has a private driveway with an attached garage. The staff and residents are very friendly.

I live in the Cottages at Crowfield. The staff is absolutely amazing. Friendly, informative, involved, etc. The biggest shout out I have to give though goes to Jamal, our maintenance man! Obviously, at times, there are maintenance things that need to be taken care of. However, no problem, it is taken care of! Jamal will always be there for you! Leaking faucet, he is there. Got locked out of the house, he is showing up at 10:00 at night, still with respect, a smile on his face, and happy to help. I couldn't ask for a better place to call home or a better person to handle anything that may arise!

I have had problems since the day I moved in here the only nice things about this duplex is you get your own garage which my garage door has been broken for weeks. Somebody came to do a temporary resolve, and it broke again a week later, and has been broken ever since. In addition, I have also only had power in half of my house for almost 3 weeks now a few days ago. An electrician finally did show, however, couldn’t figure out the problem so told me the office would take care of me. I have called the office no response. I have left a message. No call back. I have personally went there and the leasing agent basically told me I needed to talk to the manager, who of course was not there. I moved in May 2024 and found the home satisfactory, except for the non-functional AC. Despite my repeated requests, the maintenance team showed little interest in addressing the issue. Their approach to checking the unit was limited to measuring the temperature at the vent, which I believe is inadequate. The maintenance person suggested that I keep the doors open for better air circulation due to poor installation, which seems unreasonable given the high rent. The property manager, Isaiah, told me that he would send someone to inspect the unit, but this never happened, and he became evasive when I told him that I have a camera and he wasn't on it. The pool area has been closed due to alleged storm damage, but it was not functional even before that. BEWARE DON’T RENT HERE

From the beginning of my stay l've had issues. The previous office manager did their best to rectify them but it's only so much they could do. And contacting their corporate office did/does not help. They don't even respond. From the start l've had issues with roaches and rats. Also the insulation in the place is not the best. My light bill is high every month since l've been here. I am a person who is very cognizant of things like that and don’t constantly keep lights on and etc. Another thing, please be aware that you will pay for separate water and sewer and etc. But the trash bill is supposed to be added to the separate sewer bill only. However, they tack an extra $10 for trash on to your rent as well. The place needs major updating. The only benefit to it is the garage and the small b
