Cortland Mountain Vista

I love working at Cortland, but I also love living in this community. I've had a few maintenance-related issues while living at Cortland Mountain Vista in the last seven months I've lived here, but the service team always takes care of them so quickly and does an excellent job, so I wanted to give them the shout-out they deserve! Thank you, service team, for making it a joy to live here! Plus, I love the view from my balcony!

Was supposed to move into apartment 2081 on 11/24.. payed .. got my keys .. then was told they were still replacing the carpets so I couldn’t even move in that day.. even tho I paid for that day .. finally go to move into the apartment 11/26.. and the apartment was definitely not “move in ready”. The fact they even approved this apartment for a walk thru and expected someone to move into is unbelievable and very disrespectful.. Cabinets are all damaged in kitchen .. water damage in one bathroom actively leaking behind the toilet .. master bathroom floor is completely bubbled up… sprinkler when you walk thru the door is practically hanging from the cealing.. bathtubs are completely dirty and grout was not clean or replaced … light bulbs not replaced .. I have lived at Cortland since October and have had multiple problems since before even moving in. I am a single female living alone. A week ago, I had an emergency maintenance issue and one of their staff members responded around 9:00 p.m. The maintenance technician was drunk upon arrival. His eyes were blood shot red and he was slurring his words. As a woman who lives alone, I was scared and didn’t know what to do. He did not seem like he wanted to leave, and I was genuinely terrified that something bad was going to happen. He was aggressive towards me, kept asking me if I thought he was stupid, and kept telling me not to report him to the front office. I reported the entire incident to the front desk the next day in tears. They stated they take these things “seriously”. As of yesterday,

We had several maintenance needs as we had just moved in, and they were all resolved in the same day. Our maintenance tech, Caesar, was incredibly awesome!!! He immediately introduced himself and asked about me, making me feel welcomed and valued. He was very friendly, yet professional. Caesar even came back the next day to make sure that everything was still in working order. 4 days since moving in and I am already extremely impressed!!!

I truly have never met staffing that are so personable yet so professional and caring at the same time! I love each of their personalities and how quick and efficient they are at their jobs! I truly feel so lucky to be apart of a community that has staffing that cares about their job and tenants!! Stellar community and staff here at Cortland mountain vista! ❤️❤️❤️
