Customer Reviews
I cannot express my frustration with the leasing and management team at Coopers Landing enough. They took an application fee and a $150 deposit from my son. We were told we could view the apartment and that the keys would be ready on Friday. They actively advertise available units, so we moved forward in good faith. On Friday, we were told the keys would instead be ready Monday and that we could view the apartment at 10 a.m. On Monday morning, we were then told the keys wouldn’t be available until the afternoon because management had to complete a walk-through — and that the application was still being screened and could take another 3–5 days. All of this happened while we were paying for an Airbnb and had everything packed and loaded in vehicles, ready to move, based on their assurance
I love living at Coopers Landing. A lot of my neighbors have lived here many years, like me! It tells me how much this place is loved. I wish they would upgrade the appliances though. I have very old appliances and they make a lot of noise, and my washing machine sounds like it really struggles. For the amount of rent I pay, that is something that should be done in the older units. The maintenance and office people are great. There are a lot of dogs out here, I wish people would pick up their dog poop, they don't, even though we're supposed to. 😕
I’ll give them a couple stars because they are the best you’re going to get for a cheaper price. However here’s a couple things you should know. I have never had an apartment complex keep our security deposit, let alone charge us more money after we left. We were charged an extra $1000 (not including our security deposit) to put in a brand new carpet, repair trim, and repair blinds. We had some wear and tear on the carpet in isolated locations in heavy traffic hallways, but there was no major incidents with the carpet or trim, and the maintenance workers themselves said the blinds are very flimsy and break easily. Know your rights!!! They don’t let you email or call (because why make it convenient, they’re trying to take your money) so I had to send a letter explaining these things and i
Where to start. Property manager is criminal. Charges have been filed. 2 weeks ago they opened everyone's garage doors to facilitate a paving company. Paving didnt even come within 6 inches of closed garage doors but they were able to pave right up against the buildings in many other places. Lie number 1 and violation of law requiring them to notify you if they give anyone acces to your apartment. Then once they realized the paving crew was wandering through everyone's apartments they sent maintenance around to lock the door from the apartments to the garage. Then lied and said they didn't let anyone in. Only admitted to it once police were involved for the break ins. They do not replace the locks when tenants move out as I had people unlock my door while I was sitting in my living
0 stars. My wife and I had spoken to Amy and decided to move forward submitting an application. Amy seemed to be accommodating and helpful and even assigned us a unit while awaiting our application approval. We told her we needed to move by the end of the month and that we are coming from NY, so we need to travel a long way to get there. She told us she’d reach out to us yesterday by the end of the day and never did. Today she was out. My wife called and the lady pulled the application to tell us we were denied. A waste of time and money. Like most apartment complexes, they are scammers and pretend to be accommodating only to take your money and not even have the decency to call to let us know.
