College Park MD Apartments

The place is a health hazard, the roaches are incorrigible, the apartment management conducted fumigation without proper notice (we spent hours washing our belongings while experiencing tingling sensations from the pesticide), and yet the roaches persist. It is clear the roaches are resistant to foggers, insecticides, baits. We saw perhaps 15 roaches a day towards the end. This is despite us separating out organic waste in airtight containers and urging the management to plug up the holes in the kitchen wall that serve as an inter-apartment roach highway. The roaches followed along to the new apartment. Mysterious bubbling under paint, potentially from chronic water leakage and mold. I recently left these apartments and would never EVER recommend them to anyone. The maintenance team were incompetent, mold was constantly in the bathroom and when my front door broke, it took them 6 months just to give me an answer on if they would fix it or not. I do not I repeat DO NOT recommend ANYONE to move here except for two reasons…… number 1, you are down on your luck and need something quick or number 2 you hate yourself and don’t ever want to have company P.S. : pictures of the mold that was in the bathroom up until I finally moved out, the mouse dead out front and a few other “lovely” little pictures of my time there

This property is now under new management by Washington Property Company, and the difference is clear. The staff is attentive, maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the renovations are impressive—units are being fully updated and look fantastic!
