No urgency to resolve maintenance issues. New property manager all the time. No one lets you know anything when they leave. I haven’t had hot water in over a week and have not received a single response. God forbid you don’t pay the rent on time , I’m sure they’ll find a way to spot that issue ASAP and slap their extra fees in a timely manner. Absolutely RIDICULOUS .

The apartments at central flats East Orange are new luxury style apartments. They’re appealing but they’re situated over the Blink Gym. Along w the gym is a lot of noise and too often very early and/or very late in the day If you value quiet time at home there’s no guarantee you’ll find it while residing here. With rental prices being quite expensive these days you’re sure to find somewhere else equal in value without the noise factor. Yes, I’ve mentioned my concerns to the building manager. I’ll follow up with an improved and/or better review when applicable. For now, seriously consider the noise factor before signing.

If you order food, you will have to fight homeless people to move out of the way of the door. By then the delivery person will leave. Can't blame them. Homeless people will break the door handle to sleep inside the stairwell. They also ring all the bells waiting for someone to open the door who is expecting a delivery. They leave trash by the mail boxes as well. The walls are very thin. The automatic lights do not turn on until you've already reached your door with the key out. The water is NEVER hot. You have an assigned parking spot but that doesn't matter, it will be taken by Blink fitness, Eye Care, or the fabrics store customers. If you put a cone down, it will be stolen or rolled over. Shame on you for the false advertising. The exterior photo of the building is fake. It has stores below and do not look remotely like this. This is a low income urban area. Do yourself a favor and see for yourself. One of the photos of a living room with a nice view is fake as well. This property sits on a main strip of run down business with a lot of traffic. It is a renovated building only on the top, the businesses sit below. And there is a large 24/7 Gym, "Blink", so be prepared for a lot of noise, as well as people tend to congregate in the parking lot in the rear that spans the entire length of the property, so factor in that noise level as well. Especially in the summer months with music blaring from cars.

New Management is SO much better than the management under the previous owners. Despite the requirement that residents use the portal for all lease transactions which was overwhelming for my aging, anti-technology parents, the staff was super helpful resolving the online account issues. Special shout out to @Komariah.Aly for all her assistance with the portal. She was understanding, kind and fixed everything on the backend & the portal works great! Also a huge thank you to @Nathan.Nakaya who was empathethic, compassionate and extremely helpful in managing through our lease situation. Keep up the great customer service!
