Castlebrook Apartments

I’m so disappointed and over this apartment complex. I try to be chill about things but it is getting to a point now. I called TWO weeks ago and spoke to Mari and let her know that there was a leak happening somewhere in the apartment. I told her the leak was getting worse and she assured me that she would get someone out. I called to follow up, was put on hold for over 20 minutes and still, nothing. I don’t understand how these people are in charge of our homes but when there is a real issue, they do nothing. Now the leak has spread to my bathroom and my floor is soaked. This has been a great place to live, especially compared to my previous apartment. I’ve never had any issues with rodents or bugs, which has been a huge plus. On the rare occasion I needed maintenance, the team responded quickly and resolved the issue promptly. Overall, it’s been a very positive living experience.

I had a one-year lease at this property and initially had a positive experience throughout most of my stay. However, my opinion changed significantly during the move-out process. **Important warning:** The leasing office will *automatically renew your lease* if you do not proactively reach out before the end of your term. I was told a renewal notice was sent via mail two months prior—something I never received. Despite this, I was eventually able to speak with the management team and terminate the renewal after an exhausting back and forth with the company-NOT the leasing office. Upon move-out, I was informed that my security deposit would be returned by mail. However, I was surprised to find that over half of my deposit(>$1000) had been withheld for "carpet and cleaning" fees even thoug

Cheap, flimsy work that they barely want to replace or fix. There is mold and rodents in the walls, they’ll say they are working on it and 2 years will pass. You can’t sleep if your neighbor wants to take a shower or snore, the pipes are old and water dept constantly needs to shut off water for hours to patch up. They do spend money on fresh paint and a pretty lobby but look closely into the cracks and areas not immediately seen by the public eye.

Roach infestations and smoking in building 18m-x. Management doesn’t care nor responds. Some 1 bedroom units have 10 occupants who leave keys into the building at the front door, but they are never confronted. This place is sooooooo bad and dingy.
