Camden Annex

This is easily one of the worst apartments in Columbus, especially considering how expensive it is. The rent is ridiculously high for what you get, there is absolutely nothing “luxury” about this place. Safety is a major concern. There have been frequent break-ins at night, especially around the holidays, and it does not feel secure at all. While the area itself looks nice, the actual living experience is not safe. The construction quality is terrible. Everything feels cheaply made and is literally falling apart. A glass door randomly fell off its hinges and landed on my toe, completely unacceptable and dangerous. I absolutely loved living at Camden Apartments! It was so peaceful, and the new management team is fantastic. They're understanding, friendly, and genuinely care about the residents. Whenever I had a concern, they addressed it promptly and with kindness. The community is well-maintained, and I always felt safe walking around the complex, which was a big plus for me. The only downside would be the parking situation. If you're not home by a certain time, you might end up parking by the clubhouse, which is fine during the summer, but it can be a hassle in the winter. Despite this, Camden is a quiet and peaceful place to live, and I enjoyed my time there. Highly recommend it!

I’ve lived here since October 2022 and I can say I’m still very pleased. My actual apartment is nice and new and SPACIOUS. I’ve lived in a couple “luxury” style apartments and the Camden/camden annex definitely have the best amenities I’ve seen so far. The staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile when you come into the clubhouse. I haven’t had to make a maintenance request when since I moved in, but they are always very helpful with anything else I need.

Would not recommend this apartment at all. I will say a lot of issues had to do with previous management, but not all of them. We lived here for 1.5 years before leaving. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything from footsteps to people arguing. The residents here also blast loud music at all times of the day. Smells penetrate the walls here badly. Our neighbors would chain-smoke weed all the time and it constantly stunk up our apartment. The layout with the 3 buildings surrounding the parking lot made it hard to sleep as people were pulling in bumping music at 1-2 am or filming loud TikTok videos in the parking lot. Been living at Camden Annex for about 3 months now and it has been great! The amenities are so nice and I use them often. Haven't had any issues with my unit and all of the appliances are brand new and super nice! The leasing office is super helpful and everyone in there is very nice, unlike other places I have lived.
