Do not purchase a home where construction is being done on houses! We love our home but the construction around us is unbearable at times. No supervision & workers arrive before 7am & stay after 7 pm. They block streets, run loud equipment near residents hones with no respect for residents.

Chesapeake Builders consistently fails to address issues promptly—or at all. The workmanship on their homes is abysmal: uneven floors, crooked walls, bad trim joints, and paint slopped everywhere, dying trees and never drying water pools on people’s properties are just the start. They rely on unskilled labor to churn out these mass-produced houses, so if you’re expecting craftsmanship, think again. Before signing anything, drive through the neighborhood and talk to residents about their experiences with the purchase process and warranties. You’ll wish you had. Horrible builder who won't address issues if you didn't spot on your walk thru. I have a wall that wasn't completely painted, trim not completely painted and stain on a wall from when they stained a cabinet. Because I didn't notice these things during my walk-thru, they refuse to come back and paint. What builder doesn't finish paint jobs and then not address them simply because the homeowner did not see the incomplete work during their walk-thru. Beware - find a builder who provides customer service! This builder certainly does not.

Great place great people great services!!Home was well built. Our builder Brian kept us up to date with the project during construction and fixed any issues to our satisfaction. Our sales representative Lori was awsome. Patrick the mortgage person from Tidewater was fantastic and available when we had questions. Lastly we were blessed and lucky to have been assigned Nick as our warranty inspector. All of the items were minor and not many in number, he was able to get the appropriate vendors in and have items repaired to our satisfaction. There were minor challenges with the vendors scheduling,however Nick did keep on top of them and keep us informed until the job was complete. Great experience, builder, location and community! Beautiful plans and design center for customization. Over 6 miles of paths, ponds, excellent community center with kitchen and covered outdoor BBQ, pool, workout facilities, active social calendar. Exceptional place to build a new home.
