Brentwood Park Apartments

I've now lived at Brentwood Park apartments for nearly 2 years. I was introduced to it through a friend who lived there primarily due to the pricing. While the pricing has gone up since I've been here, It hasn't been extreme jumps. 30-50 dollars each year. I can see from the reviews there's a lot of issues people have had with the staff, and I'm genuinely uncertain as to where those issues are coming from. The landlady Debbie has always responded to me in a timely manner and spoken respectfully. I do get texts from her (group texts to all residents) that can be stern or abrasive, but often times this is because she's had to repeat herself a lot. I have lived here over 2 years. I haven't had issues with management. I feel that you get what you give. I don't know how the other dealing have gone, but I treat her with respect and get it back. If I make an arrangement of any kind and hold to it, we don't have any problems. The floor was broken in my apartment and they put us up in a good hotel while it was being fixed.

It's not a bad place to live at all. Its fairly quiet and laid back. I have never had a problem with the front office or neighbors in the past couple of years. It is dog friendly !

The property manager is a really nice lady, the rooms are very affordable and it's in a safe quiet neighborhood. Great find in South KC!

Not a good experience, property manager was extremely RUDE and disrespectful on the phone to my mother in law who was looking at these apartments.
