Over the past few weeks, we've had a few different maintenance needs, and Walt has been consistent in being prompt and helpful throughout the entire process! He has gone above and beyond in resolving issues, communicating timely, and teaching us great tricks for house maintenance that I will carry with me. Walt is always a pleasure to work with and I'm thankful for his attention to detail and consistent service.

Auben Realty is an horrible property management company & I would not recommend. Our basement has been flooding since Oct-Nov of 2023. It is now July 2024 & the problem still hasn't been fixed. All they have been doing is patch-work from time to time still causing the problem to breakthrough. We’ve had mold growing & it took them 2 months to fix the first, all they did was cut the drywall up 2 feet & it took them 3 months to come back & fix the drywall & put new carpet down & they half way did that. So its floods again & we go get a wet vac to try & soak water up & it still was not enough. They had maintenance just lift the carpet & put 2 blower fans under it, patch-work again. The foundation is messed & thats another reason water gets in when it rains & they still haven't fixed it. So now

WORST property management in the Kansas City area - property owners stay away and find any other company. We have worked with over 10 different property managers in over 5 markets and believe me when I tell you they are horrible. Originally Voepel Property Management, they were better, but when they became Auben in February 2024 things went from almost acceptable to horrible very quickly. Auben first, owners interests, not their concern. They collect tenant owed fees and management fees on uncollected rent from owner funds, then make no attempt to collect the amounts from the tenant. Although in fairness they offered to give us the tenants details so we could try to collect it on our own! Communication - Most inquiries go unanswered unless you ask multiple times, sometimes 3 or 4 att

I saw a listing for 2 br $995. Not bad however. Don't rent from this company unless you want to pay a deposit same as rent. Then application fee for $70 then they have a ridiculous admin fee for $200 after your approved. For what that the application fee isn't taking care of??. They adding $200 extra because they can. To put in somebody at the company pocket. Or to pay for lunch etc. Other realty companies are charging $35-50 for application with no admin fee of $200 or any. Why does this company need this charge? Your already paying for them to do the application. $70 which is higher than most. If they don't care when your coming in to apply. How will they treat you as a tenant. You will be a number for them to get money. Not a human being with price gauging like this. I skipped this com

I have been on a hunt for months for a new place. I found a place through Auben Realty and the process has been so smooth. It's been a long time since I've moved so I had a lot of questions. I'm more than grateful for having Keke Blackmon help through the whole process. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and patience. I know I'm going to love my new home!!☺️
