My client( home buyer ) chose Boggs Home Inspection. Perry was on time which I truly appreciated. He went through the home very thoroughly and I feel he did a very good inspection..I will use them in the future..

I’ve had to revise and repost this review because Boggs Inspection Services continues to post evasive, liability-shielding replies that ignore the central issue: they market themselves as experts, charge professional fees, and then disclaim any responsibility for the accuracy, adequacy, or interpretation of the work they perform. After 900 gallons of Category 3 water flooded into my HVAC system, contaminating the ducts and producing visible black mold, I hired Boggs to assess the contamination. Every recognized standard (EPA, NADCA, IICRC, InterNACHI) clearly states that porous HVAC components exposed to Category 3 water must be replaced, not tested or cleaned. Three days later, during active demolition, Boggs sent an inspector who documented: - Mold Present - Musty Odor Present - Water

I won’t be using Boggs again. I purchased a home early January and used Boggs for the inspection. I had a visible leak that I noticed a few days into owning the home in the basement. The plumber said it should have been mentioned on the inspection but was not. There was a leak mentioned but not one above the water heater. It caused the brand new water heater to go out and the plumbers had to fix the leak. Ultimately costing 5k+ before my first mortgage payment. I do take accountability in the sense that I should have been present during the inspection but trusted them. In the future with a different inspection company I will do so.
