Block 36 - Lease by Bed Available

I would not recommend living at Block 36. When I first moved in, the apartment was in terrible condition. There were mice inside, and management told me they could not offer me another unit. The floor vinyl was torn, there was mold in the refrigerator, my bedroom carpet was dirty and stained with paint, and the bathroom was in even worse shape—the sink, tub, and floor near the tub all had mold. There were leftover items from the previous tenant still in the cabinets, and paint splatters all over the bathroom floor. When I moved out, I was unfairly charged over $1,000 in damages, even though I had photo evidence that I left my room clean and undamaged. Only after repeatedly pushing the issue—and going into the leasing office in person—did they remove some of the charges. However, there are

**** updated review- I have to give a shoutout to Omar, the regional manager for all of his help in resolving our issues. 13 days later my son is now in his clean apartment and most issues dealt with. We did have to drive up again 12 hours to help him. Below is original review: After driving 12 hours from NC, Our Move in nightmare: on move in day, My son and his two other roommates were moving into a unit with another person they did not know. He had reached out several times this summer to get to know the fourth person. No luck. Soooo today when we arrived and I walked in, it was unbelievable. Rene is an amazing manager who truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel welcome! From the moment I visited, she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. She made the entire leasing process smooth and stress-free, always answering questions promptly and with a smile. Her professionalism and dedication to creating a positive living experience really stand out. Thanks to her, this feels like more than just an apartment—it feels like home. Highly recommend!

Block 36 has beautiful grounds and buildings. The amenities are very nice including the yoga room, work out room and computer room. . It is a nice place for students to live, they get their own bedroom and bathroom in the units and they can have pets too. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I previously lived at Block 36 and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff! The office staff, Rachel, Marissa, Rene, and Jordyn are all wonderful people, who have made my stay at Block 36 memorable and enjoyable. The Maintenance Supervisor Kevin is always on top of everything and is amazing at his job! Thank you guys, for being wonderful!
