Balboa Pointe

The owner is very greedy and is not a good person. He still makes us pay money orders, and when his managers either lose them or steal them, he blames the tenants. The elevator hasn't worked for over a year, and the poor old people on the 3rd floor have to walk up the stairs all the time. The mail boxes are always being broken into, and they have no clue who it is because the security is non-existent. They have 1 person who does maintenance for the whole apartment, so it's better you resolve your issues by yourself. The point is that this place would be a lot better if the owner wasn't so greedy and knew how to manage a building.

This place is full of incompetent, unprofessional individuals, from the management company, to the property manager. Although I kept my apartment super clean, there was a roach infestation that was never addressed despite my continued requests to have it fumigated. The current manager is incredibly petty and unprofessional,, trying to use her “power” against specific tenants who are less able to advocate for themselves. I have witnessed her actively seeking to find issues with certain tenants, especially those who do not speak English fluently. I am getting ready to move out, and I don’t usually post good/bad reviews, yet I feel compelled to express my reality because I am in complete disagreement on how this management company and manager run their business.
