Associa Hill Country

I can’t say enough good things about our HOA’s Community Manager, James. He is truly one of the best parts of our community. James is consistently professional, responsive, and incredibly kind and it’s clear he genuinely cares about both the residents and the neighborhood as a whole. No matter the issue big or small, he approaches everything with patience, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. He communicates clearly, follows through, and somehow manages to make HOA matters feel less stressful than they usually are. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and approachable in this role, and our community is better because of him. We’re lucky to have James and the team at Associa managing our HOA!

Working with Stephany White has been an absolute pleasure. As a CPA firm that performs audits for community associations, we work with many managers, and Stephany truly stands out. She is organized, responsive, and proactive. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication make the audit process smooth and efficient for everyone involved. My review is for James Duncan. James is consistently engaged to help our community HOA by being onsite to review special projects and opportunities including taking photos and measurements to provide sufficiently detailed work scopes for bidders as well as provide timely and thorough education (financials, legal, processes, procedures) to HOA board members. He is proactive and very interested to help. The most significant improvement opportunity for Associa is to not overload James with 15 HOAs to manage in order to provide him more opportunity to be available. James wants to "do it all" but does have to recognize when and how to get help from within Associa, especially when emergency situations occur.

I can’t speak highly enough about James—and now his new assistant manager, Salina. Anytime I have questions, need assistance, or have general concerns, James is incredibly quick to respond. I’m not sure how he does it, but he usually follows up within hours, if not sooner. Since Salina joined the team, things have improved even more, which I didn’t think was possible. They are both extremely approachable, always willing to help, and consistently go the extra mile. You can genuinely tell they care about us homeowners. Keep up the amazing work—you two are a huge asset, and our community is lucky to have you!
