Ascend Apollo

Looking at apartments in the area and came across this one. The website doesn’t allow you to schedule a tour, instead a message saying, “Contact Us is temporarily disabled.” In addition, there is no apartment pricing listed on the website. Each floor plan says, Call For Details. Even if the floor plans show multiple available units. So, deceptive pricing tactics, who is that supposed to work on? People who aren’t from here and don’t know any better. *update* I spoke with 3 people who were former residents and one moving company in regards to Ascend Apollo. One of the buildings has roaches and mice. Several tenants have broken leases or had to be relocated to the other building. Homeless people make a beeline to this apartment complex, likely because it’s easy for them to get to, right nex

The entire staffing has changed, and unfortunately the building is starting to look neglected. There’s trash in the parking garage and on the first floor. The gym is being used more like a lounge area by some residents, and it was never like this before. A lot of people have moved out as well. The rental office staff also seems unfriendly and not very welcoming. The previous team would greet you before you even reached the door. It made a difference. This isn’t fair to the tenants who pay their rent on time and take pride in where they live. I truly hope things improve soon.

I had an extremely poor experience with leasing. Took 500$ hold on late October to rent an apartment around 15th November. I have not received keys as of 17th November. They needed credit score, rental verification and income verification. My credit score was good enough. My old apartment took a while to verify my rental history. Apartment manager is asking where every penny from my paystub is going. I usually send some of the money to brokerage account directly from paycheck. She is now asking for the exact number of my brokerage account containing half million dollars. They have already contacted my employer and verified all the information as well

My husband and I love living at Ascend Apollo! Haja has helped us every step of the way with our application, tours and making sure we were comfortable prior to moving in. The location is right next to the metro, and an ample amount of restaurants. The building is kept clean and we haven’t had any issues with our apartment! We can confidently recommend living here!

The floors in the hallway are disgusting! The doors from the garage into the building are NOT ADA accessible, they destroyed the nicest courtyard in the building. Dollar General managers have a better standard of customer service than the building property manager. They engage in POINTLESS projects instead of what needs to be addressed with NO notification, just to appease the building owners over the residents. When I moved in it was decent. Take a tour of this place and you’ll see the tacky it really is.
