Argenta Apartments

My experience at Argenta Apartments has been extremely disappointing. We have lived here for approximately one year and three months, and issues began almost immediately after moving in. From the start, there has been a severe bug and cockroach infestation. Roaches were consistently found throughout the unit, including inside appliances, and the problem appeared to worsen over time. Pest control only performs a full “bombing” of units once a year, which requires tenants to cover belongings with plastic tarps and remove items from the apartment. Failure to comply results in additional fees, placing an unreasonable burden on residents. There have also been ongoing issues with neighbors being intrusive and disrespectful. Wish negative stars were possible. I lived here for two years and a few weeks. Ended lease properly, but they treat tenants as if they didn’t. Spent MANY weeks without hot water during my time living there. My kids and I had to take cold showers for two weeks straight more than once. After move out, these people had the nerve to charge me a ‘cleaning and damages’ fee. I even requested materials from maintenance just to cover tack and pin holes from pictures. I fixed that place and cleaned it far better than the condition I moved in to it. When I moved in the place was disgusting and wreaked of curry. I spent an entire day cleaning top to bottom before I could move my stuff in. I left it cleaner than that when I left. The move in policy I selected provided renters insurance and a ‘move-in d

came back to the leasing office after not living here for a year+. The newer management team as well as maintenance seem like they’ve really turned things around and made it an enjoyable place to call home. Would recommend to look into this apartment for affordable housing.

I regret to review them but I will right now anyway. They were willing to overlook my situation to get me out of homelessness and save my life but they moved me into a unit that had bedbugs. There are no roaches and they seem to be trying to deal with that. The water issues are very real and very hard to deal with. The unit was leased to me with prior damage and I had to conduct my own inspection that got closed out automatically and I had to ask them directly to reinitiate it. I lost my seasonal job 3 months before I was supposed to because they just did it early and this complex accommodated me with a lower rent. Because I had little money, and had to make the payment in full, I was unable to pay it at all. I have been trying every single day since the 28th of December to get another job

We have been here longer than ANY OTHER TENANTS HERE! 13 years! We have watched this place remodel, sell, remodel and sell again about 5 times, The last 2 times was in 12 month period. The current management has treated us very poorly, and says that we have only been here for 7 years! WHAT??? I CALLED SRP, AND SRP SAYS WE HAVE BEEN IN THIS SAME UNIT AND ADDRESS SINCE JAN 1ST 2012. HMMMM...?? WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE HIDING AND GETTING AWAY WITH? I filed a civil right suit against this place. They had targeted me for the last time. You WILL regret moving here! It's THAT BAD AND YOUR $200 WATER BILL WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE ALL IN THE PARKING LOT OR ELSEWHERE IN THE COMPLEX! I feel very strongly that they intentionally lost the first half of our residency here so they can charge us for 13 years
