Arbors at Brookfield Apartments

If I can give this place a lower rating I will, this place has been a living nightmare. I am counting down the days for my lease is up because of course they require close to $5,000 to terminate your lease early. Since the day I moved in I had to open up multiple maintenance request and although I did have to go into the office because it took 3 weeks to complete, the jobs were done horribly. The apartment was given to me dirty, the utility closet is dirty and air vents. I have complained about mold and all they did was come in and check no testing and re-caulked. My mother in laws guest bathroom has been leaking since before Christmas and till this day it has not been fixed. The amenities they are supposedly offered do not work. The Apartment smell awful the smell of dog feces and pee is overwhelming and its all you smell in the walkways. The roach problem is awful as well we've been dealing with roaches since we've arrived. The neighbors are noisy at all different times from sun up to sun down we can't catch a break or minute without hearing stomping.

I have been having issues with my AC/heating unit since July. I had been getting the runaround for months about it. They say they would show up and don't, or come and do an unacceptable job. My electric bill increased to almost $400. After multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I began speaking with Melissa R., the manager. She helped get this issue resolved and I was compensated for my increased light bill. I have lived here for three years and this is the first time I haven't gotten the runaround or been lied to about issues being resolved. I appreciate Melissa for her attentiveness to this matter. It really made my outlook on Arbors less cloudy. Again, thank you, MELISSA R!

I have lived at the Arbors going on 3 years now. The unit itself is very nice and updated, the amenities are great (minus the pool being closed most of the summer due to chemical issues, the staff is aware and working on it!). The maintenance team is very nice and undergoing a transition period as well as the office staff. Even in the last month they have been more helpful and responsive. My main two issues with Arbors has to be the bugs and the lack of open communication lines. We have had issues with roached in our unit the last year, down to an entire nest under our fridge. We were promised pest control would be out to help over and over, i think they came and sprayed once. We ended up doing pest control ourselves over and over, we still cant get rid of them. Nice decent apartment complex to live in, close to a lot of stores, quick access to 385. I like that it has 3 pools, gym. I’ll be renewing my lease for another year to enjoy this relaxing view from my patio.
