Amberwood Apartments

I just moved out and here is my honest review. I was there for 2 years and dealt with the water issues and roaches etc but what was the last straw was the new owners and Amifor "Mismanagement". Here are updated pictures as they have painted the units multiple colors and a lot of people have moved out because who wants to live in a circus? The new owner and management is the reason I moved. The pool is still covered up and there are no events for the kids during the holidays this year like in the past. They don't care about the residents even enough to remember our names. I had to tell Reggie and AJ my name and unit # EVERY TIME I saw them. If you can't even remember one tenant's name then you don't deserve my rent money. I probably would have had a better impression of the office staff if it weren't for the manager grilling us like we some kind of criminals. We aren't new to the Atlanta metro area, but we did move back from another city in Georgia. She asked how long we were planning on staying, what our work history was, etc. I guess complexes like this have gotten burned by transplants, who, when it doesn't work out, just up and leave. Anyway, the unit we saw had an interesting enough floor plan that I haven't seen anywhere else. Finding a place at this price range with a formal dining room that's right off the kitchen is rare. And the living room was huge. I like that it had 3 entrances although it was weird that there were basically two front doors next to each other. It has a private back patio. I ha

New manager and new owners, i want to give people the olive branch to come and have a great experience at a really good large dwelling to call home.

I am a current tenant that is moving as soon as my lease is up. I agree with the other reviews about the rent being too high and the bugs but I could deal with that a little but what I can't deal with is the new owner and management company AMIFOR. New owner thinks that painting the apartments a bunch stupid colors will fix issues. The main problem is water pressure, (it floods and backs up there a lot). No dishwasher or pool because they have water issues. Then there is the bugs, stray cats possums and snakes. It is filthy and there are better options in Riverdale.
