Amber Square Apartments & Townhomes

I have been living in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with Amber Square for almost a year, and I've loved my time here. The maintenance crew has always been fast and extremely helpful with any plumbing issues that have sprung up. The lawn is always in great shape. My apartment itself is extremely spacious along with my bedroom. Most importantly, the leasing department and staff have been extremely courteous and quick to reply to any emails. Overall I give my living experience here a solid 10/10 and came away very impressed. Big thanks to Juli and everyone at Amber Square for making it possible!

Office staff is crooked and dysfunctional at best. They've fired, and hired a new staff 3 times in the last 6 months. They all seem to have an attitude problem. Their maintenance staff doesnt their jobs hardly ever, and definitely don't do snow removal at all. I broke my tailbone 3 times in 2 years because of it. Free laundry? There's black mold growing in one their washer units and they're always broken. The company that runs them DTN vastly under pays employees which explains why maintenance refuses to do their job functionally and pulls up Google every time they need to fix something. Whatever you do, don't live here.

After we chose one of the first floor apartments at Ambassador Apartments at Chester Rd we submitted an application for moving date on 09/01/2024 and the monthly rent $880 or cheaper option $840/monthly /13 months lease. Until today we didn’t receive anything regarding the apartment and since today morning we called the office more than 10 times and no response! We went to office and representative(Kristyn) told us for some reason I haven’t received your application (what reason???) and that first floor apartment is gone! Now our options are second floor and minimum $919 monthly rent! I have managed my budget for the previous amount and because of my knees I have hard time to use stairs, also we have only 10 days to move out from our apartment. Worst than everything can you believe that Am

I love living here! My one-bedroom apartment is very open and well updated, the office staff have been great to work with, and maintenance is always prompt and friendly. The neighborhood is wonderful, quiet and with easy access to the highway, shopping, restaurants, pretty much everything you'd want to do in the greater Lansing area. I'm very happy with my decision to move to Amber Square!

Wonderful, quiet neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff. I moved to Lansing not knowing anything about the area and I was helped wonderfully. Maintenance requests were taken care of either that day or the next morning, no questions asked. All the maintenance people were kind, respectful and professional. The staff in the leasing office cannot be rated high enough. So kind, so helpful and very respectful. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the grounds of the apartments are well taken care of. All in all, this is a great place!
