Amazon Apartments

I have been at Amazon Apartments for 3 years now and I am incredibly grateful for my experience. I moved from the other side of the state without ever visiting the area and Amazon Apartments has exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful, it is the perfect downtown location, and the apartments are BEAUTIFUL. I feel like I'm living in a movie with the high ceiling, brick walls, and exposed beams. The water is right across the street and Lake Michigan is a quick drive away. If you are on the fence I cannot recommend Amazon Apartments enough.

BEWARE! if I could give less than one star I would.. my husband and I have only lived here for three months and are so, so unhappy.. but of course they wouldn't let us buy out of our lease. outside of extremely inconsiderate management... where do I even begin? the loud homeless people the windows and hanging out around the building.. the hallways smelling like marijuana... the sketchy mail room situation... rusty dishwasher.. water stained and warped cabinets.. really bad paint jobs... half of the outlets don't work throughout the entire apartment.. dog hair cover laundry rooms... hallways have stained carpet.. super cheap vinyl flooring... the list goes on and on.. so i won't bore you anymore but be smarter then us and definitely do your research, as well as reading all the reviews.

We love our home here at the Amazon, just a stone's throw from Muskegon Lake. They have a great staff here. They are always prompt and responsive to issues as they arise. We've been here four years now, and don't plan on going anywhere soon (unless another unit with an even better view of the lake becomes available!)

I've had so many issues with leaks in my unit on the top floor. Every seasonal change, a new leak would pop up. It is an older building and they've patched up as much as they could when needed but it got old fast. I've had nothing but unpleasant interactions with maintenance staff and management for the 2 years I've rented here. They've been dismissive, rude, and have been gaslit when brining up significant concerns. My unit and some other residents I've talked to experiences low water pressure and it takes, and I'm not exaggerating, 2-3 minutes for the water to warm up when faucets are fu

I’ve been living at Amazon Apartments for almost a full year now, and I chose it for the proximity to all the activity downtown in Muskegon as well as the unique industrial style. The staff here are kind, professional, and thorough. They swiftly replied to and managed any of the maintenance requests that I had placed. The additional workout facility is well maintained, clean, and it has good equipment. All in all, it’s a good place to call home.
