Aldon at Powell & Broad Apartments

Working with Christine and the team at The Alden was an absolute pleasure. We recently completed the Pickleball court project there, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The property is beautiful — the grounds are always clean and well maintained — and every resident we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Christine made everything easy and enjoyable to coordinate. Truly one of the best communities we’ve worked with!

I had an amazing experience with the leasing office, especially thanks to Erin! She was incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to show me multiple units and answering all of my questions. She made my move-in process smooth and stress-free. Jayla was great too. Together, her and Erin really made the whole experience fantastic. Also, I love that this is the only properties that gives a budget list/break down of all fees like pet fees, home insurance, private storages, and more on their websites. This left no room for surprises. Even after moving in, I am still in love with all of the amenities like the gym, dog washing station, car wash/vacuum station, valet trash and more. I have lived here for awhile now and feel that most of the reviews I'm seeing are unfair to management. The property is very well maintained. The leasing and maintenance personnel are pleasant, professional and respectful. I constantly see landscaping or maintenance of some sort going on. I've had to call maintenance twice and both times I received immediate responses and my problems resolved. The posted photos are also unfair. There is a large trash compactor and an enclosed area for recycling of cardboard. The community is pet friendly which is great because I love animals but I was not expecting the volume of "pigs" that live here as residents and can't bother to walk 15 feet from the cardboard area to the compactor and choose to pile their disgusting trash on the ground. This is my first apartment and I must say everything is truly nice here even the people who work here. Everyone at the leasing office and maintenance workers are friendly. I love that they have events for those living in the complex to be able to meet each other and have a good time. They have a lovely gym here that’s open 24/7, dogs parks, pickleball courts, and more! I was able to get a tour of the apartments just by walking in without to setup an appointment which was helpful. I couldn’t help but get my own spot at this place due to my experience with the lovely staff. Couldn’t have asked for anything better :)

We have had our tub fixed 4x in 2 years, it keeps cracking the said they would replace but instead have just put paste over it again and again. We were concerned that water was leaking under the floor boards in the bathroom since we seeing water come out near the closet and sink - the informed us there was so much foam not worry about it. We have had our oven break, our fridge is falling apart. We pay $200 + in AC/Heat we try to leave it off but when we turn it on to 72 it will run at 76 in the winter, when we try to turn on in the summer it hardly cools. The Management is horrible, trash is hardly picked up, maybe 50% of the time they take our trash for our "valet" trash service. And now, right before Christmas with no valet trash for the week the trash compactor is broken. Not to m
