Advenir at Varina Oaks

I’ve been in and out of the office multiple times and every time I am greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Sometimes it’s just the little things that make such a difference. 😀 Wanted to update this review to add how festive the office is during the holidays. Everything is so nicely decorated. Just makes you feel good, like being a kid again

I can’t say enough great things about this incredible team! From start to finish, our leasing experience was seamless and truly welcoming. Gayle was so genuine and knowledgeable, guiding us through every step with care and patience. Tisha has been absolutely amazing—her warm energy and kindness made such a difference during my last-minute apartment search after moving from Texas to North Carolina. I truly couldn’t have done it without her support. Miguel is just as outstanding, always going above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of and that we feel completely at home. Thank you all for your professionalism, kindness, and for making our family feel so welcomed from day one. We’re truly grateful for everything you’ve done!

I’ve been living at Advenir at Varina Oaks for some time now, and overall, our experience has been a mix of positives with some areas that still need improvement. The community itself is genuinely beautiful, and my family and I are grateful to call it home. The environment is quiet and generally well-maintained, and it would only be enhanced by the addition of a playground for the kids, though we’ve managed just fine without one. Our apartment is comfortable, though it’s clear that the original construction under D.R. Horton had some shortcomings. When new management (Advenir Living / Azora) took over last year, I was hopeful for positive changes. In some ways, things have improved, but communication has been the biggest challenge. We had a 2:00-2:30 self guided tour appointment yesterday(11/30/2025). We arrive 10 minutes early & shortly upon arrive I received a. text stating our appointment was about to begin, more information regarding the 1 bedroom price points(we wanted to tour a 2 bedroom so not sure why that info was sent), and other info such as the office phone number if we had questions and also the link to apply if we were interested. Great! Seeing that the office hours were open until 4 we decided to head to the office to maybe start the tour early. The door was locked so we assumed that maybe they were on a tour with another potential resident. We decided to walk around to check out the area while we wait. I cannot sit by and watch people trash this management any longer. I moved out to be closer to family a few months ago. Now do not get me twisted, in the beginning I did not like what the new management was doing but what they were doing was NEEDED! The old company just let anyone and everyone move in, there were parties all the time, weed smell was everywhere, the pool was so full of people I didn't even know, and to top it all off there was an apartment that was busted for meth! Right next door to me! New management came in and put a stop to all of that nonsense. I have watch people yell at the sweet guy in the front office, over him just doing his job.
