Acacia at Carmichael Apartments

Mgt. let themselves in without notice because "you didn't answer when we knocked 2 hours prior" the Mgr said. They were paid twice for the 1st month. First by me then again by section 8. With a $900 overpayment during the eviction ban I didn't pay my $221 share of the rent for 2 mos. They still received $879 from the federal government. They put 6 pay or quit notices and 2 cease or desist notices within 41 days. At that point I had tried to pay the $442 that I didn't pay due to the overpayment and they refused the money. I ended up getting evicted by the Sheriff with my service dog. I begged them through emails to give me a date and time to get my furniture clothes etc. They wouldn't cooperate. I am 55 and disabled and female, a widow. I spent 2 decades in the apartments next door at Mercy

Things have gotten a lot better since new ownership has taken over. The new manager Jackie has been super responsive and addressing all my concerns thank god!!!

Since the new management team took over, there’s been a noticeable improvement at the property. Jackie has been specially efficient and responsive.

This place is unprofessional. We had more managers than the amount of years we've stayed here, and most of them never took any complaints seriously.

Not a good reference for landlord and lost an apartment because they refuse to answer calls or communicate.....
