Abbeys was my first home when I moved with my elderly dad to Chicagoland from Texas back in 2021 after my mom passed. While every complex has things they could do to be better, the Abbeys have been nothing but accommodating to me, my father, and now - my husband who moved into another unit with me in 2024. Every person I’ve worked with in management has been nothing but accommodating. The management upon my move in 2021 was so accommodating for my disabled father, and the current management has been accommodating with my husband and I when we faced hardships. The maintenance man, Eman, is one of the highlights of the Abbeys. He is so knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and always has a smile on his face. He makes my family feel safe and secure in our home. I've had the pleasure of living at Abbey Apartments under the new management, and the changes have been remarkable! The property is impeccably maintained now, and the overall upkeep is truly impressive. They've added a lovely cookout area, which is perfect for gatherings, and the decorations, especially during the holidays, add such a warm and welcoming touch. A special thanks to Tabitha and Linda, who have done an outstanding job. Tabitha, in particular, is incredibly hands-on and visible, consistently checking on the property and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The maintenance team is also fantastic—responsive, professional, and efficient. Iv been a resident here for 5 years. Management in office is extremely helpful and professional. They do a great job in keeping the building(s) clean, smelling good as well as do a great job with beautifying the grounds. I have had only minor issues in my unit and it was always addressed the same day. Thanks Linda and Tabitha for making it a nice place to call home. Eric .

This property is one of the most disgusting places I’ve ever lived. Not only a health hazard but the management team especially the leasing director Tabitha Leiber are rude, and have no intention of making the property better. I moved in on 10/08/2024 without being allowed to view the unit 1F prior to move in Red flag #1. Upon move in my shower was cracked, black mold was present and visible, air ducts are filthy causing poor air quality and violated the mold disclosure clause in the lease agreement. I submitted a move in checklist listing all issues I saw upon move in the week of 10/08/24 and even on move in day had Tabitha Leiber come into my unit to see the issues I was concerned with and in her words “yes I agree this is unacceptable and I will have maintenance get to these repairs im
