88 Hillside Apartments

Westlake village apartments. Everything here is fake, I live here for 3 years. Building too old… services terrible and if you are thinking about request something forget it. They don’t care about costumers. I have hundreds of requests everyday single day, when I had been to the office, they don’t care, and you don’t have acesses to any manager never and they are rude with you. If you have any doubts about my review, rent an apartment here and see for yourself what I'm talking about. My EV charging cable has been without power for almost a month. I've already submitted dozens of requests through the app, sent several emails, called the office, went there in person, spoke with the maintenance manager, and was treated poorly. Hines is the new management company at 88 Hillside. They have taken over the property since June 2024 and it has been smooth so far. Hines has made many upgrades to the building and has renovated existing common areas. We have a brand new gym, renovated locker room, coworking space, and visitor's restroom. There is also a clubhouse available for renting.

Had a great house tour today! The instructor was Marites. She was clear, patient, and very knowledgeable. She explained every detail in a simple and friendly way, and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have been living at 88 Hillside for going on 3 years now! Honestly, prior to management/ownership changes we wanted to relocate. The maintenance and grounds workers have always been amazing regardless of management, but ever since Hines has taken over, everything and everyone has been more than outstanding. I can’t speak for everyone else, but they have truly been more than just “someone doing their job.” With family and personal concerns they were more than caring, making sure my wife, parents and I were actually ok after certain unforeseen events. I just moved out of 88 Hillside apartments. I lived there almost 4 years and except for a couple of elevator and entrance gate issues, it was a pleasurable experience. It was very quiet and pest free. I rarely, if ever, heard my neighbors. Every place is expensive in the Bay area, but 88 Hillside seems to be as good a bargain as you will find.
