201 Landing Apartments

I lived here for a year. I have had a mixed experience with the complex. Pros: Great location. Close to food, I85 and my kids schools. Nice management and staff. Anne and her team are always willing to help, you always see maintenence out doing improvements and cleaning. Lots of families. My kids made friends super fast! Clean and large apartments. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath option was perfect for my family of 4. Maintenence is on point when it comes to an emergency. I have no idea what i would have done without Louis when my bath broke! Cons: Unsafe. In the year I lived there I have witnessed many drug related incidents, 2 shootings, deals, domestic violence and fights. Lots of unattended children. Many children ages ranging from 6 to teens would roam about the neighborhood unwatched. Many

My family just moved in and they love it. They love the open communication with management and maintenance. They love the pool area where they go to relax. The only thing we were wondering about is the basketball goal that's broken outside their apartment. We couldn't get a game going and being active with family and healthy is a goal for us. I’m a single mother with a child with a disability I was told 1 price for rent but then if I’m late I’m charged a $150 late fee and even though I’m willing to pay the late fee the property manager then can’t give me the opportunity to pay late before she goes and file an eviction adding another $45 on top of the high rent I’ve had an eviction every month since I came to these overly priced apartments I’m about to file a complaint with someone higher because there’s no way I should be paying $1700 a month for an apartment with one income this is ridiculous I highly recommend you look for something else if you’re considering these apartments

I’ve have never gotten bullied by someone in my 39 years of living until today. My two sons got into an heated argument last night over chores. It was past 10pm. I understand the rules. My oldest son left out the house yelling due to being mad after I defused the argument. This has never encountered before there 14 and 17 years old. I got a knock on my door from the apartment Manager this morning. She was asking what happen and that people door cams got everything on camera. If people camera got it why ask me. She also stated that my visitor be outside smoking dope. Like really ma’am. I looked at her strange because she lied. Whatever man you try to put on me doesn’t belong to me. She told me she would move me out of here faster than I came in also she said I would have a letter on my door

They change policies in contract without notifying tenants. Enter home without notifying. Some tenants don't pay until the 25th or so each month but those who aren't her favorites get eviction notices for being a few days late. They advertise they have a pool, which is permanently closed. Gym? What gym? Laundromat on site doesn't work at all unless you put in a major credit card to wash your clothes. My apartment was not cleaned before we moved in. We can take a shower, go barefoot, and within 5 minutes the bottoms of our feet are black. Manager talks through other people but is quick to bully people. This place could be great...... NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT.
