Nancy does a really good job at creating a false dream and she really does a good job at her job because the experience that I thought I was going to get with living here is the opposite of what I actually got so if you’re thinking of moving here, please run. run as fast as you can and here are a few few reasons why: I have been here for three years we moved as we were expecting to begin a family, which is the only reason why we are still here cause it’s not as easy to move with an infant but now that he is older, we will be out of here this year, so please do not move here lol Maintenance when submitting a request they never give you notice of when they are going to show up at your door to complete that request so that means they just pop up on you. I've been living in the building a little over a month now and it has been great! The move was seamless. From application to move in arrangements, Management staff has done a great job welcoming me to the building - cookies were a sweet bonus! All furniture delivery arrangements have been fast and easy. The concierge staff is always friendly and helpful. The few concerns I've had have been addressed promptly with follow-up check-ins. So far, it's an amazing building to live in!

My husband and I lived here for the past three years and moved out today. Everyone from the concierge desk personnel, to the maintenance staff, and our lease manager Nancy MacDonald have been professional from the start of our residence until the very last day of our lease today. They all assisted with any of our needs and addressed any of our concerns promptly when anything that needed attention came up. The apartment kitchen surfaces, appliances and floors were newly renovated upon our arrival to give a modern, open floor plan feel. Also, during our last year of residence, they added a resident common room available for renting for events, in addition to a gym for a modest fee. The tour was great, Nancy is very knowledgeable of the property and everyone seems to know her and she knows everyone. As far as the apartment we viewed, it is not luxury. The DIY of the closets does not give luxury. The size of the kitchen, not luxury. The floor was lifted in some areas, not luxury. The only luxury I enjoyed was the view from the 18th floor balcony.

From the moment my wife and I moved in, I've been impressed with the level of service and care that the staff provides. The concierge is always available to help with anything we need, from helping with groceries to calling for the elevator. The doormen are always friendly and welcoming, and they make us feel safe and secure. The maintenance staff are also top-notch - they're always prompt and responsive to any requests we have. Special thanks to Louis. And the cleaning staff does a fantastic job of keeping the building and our floor clean and tidy. In addition to the great staff, 140 Prospect Avenue also has a lot to offer in terms of amenities.
