1200 Riverside

Such a great apartment complex located in a very safe area of Burbank. The building is older (Thicker walls, more quiet than most places I've stayed.) renovated, well maintained gated property, with a pool, hot tub, and indoor 24/7 gym. Incredibly dog/cat friendly complex. There's a cute little diner walking distance, directly across the street. What really sets it apart is how amazing all of the staff members are. Mayra specifically, From day one, she has been professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making this community a great place to live. Whether it's handling maintenance requests promptly, keeping the property well-maintained, or addressing resident concerns with care and efficiency, Mayra goes above and beyond. I hated my experience living at 1200 Riverside. I had GIANT cockroaches in my unit every month (you can hear their footsteps), along with swarms of termites, flies, and ants. Numerous holes around pipes in the walls due to poor caulking, holes in the ceiling/floor, and gaping holes under/around the door that were entry points for pests. The management is extremely unprofessional and rude (along with the maintenance staff), even when the unit has pressing issues to resolve and you make an extreme effort to communicate. No one picks up the phone or responds to your messages. The walls are extremely thin to the point where you can't even have a conversation in your unit without your neighbor complaining about the noise. I wanted to give my honest opinion of 1200 Riverside. My son has lived here since 2019 and we've visited him many times. We've thoroughly enjoyed the location. Walks to Pavilion's, Equestrian Center, Mexican Restaurant, Yaki's, Baskin Robbins, and along all the beautiful residential streets (I'm going to miss my lemon tree on Mariposa!). I can't recommend the restaurant across the street though. The community is very safe and the staff has ALWAYS been responsive. All service requests have been completed very quickly and correctly. My only not so positive comment is that the laundry machines are a challenge from an operational standpoint (even since they were replaced). I’ve had a great experience living her for almost two years. The staff is friendly,, and the maintenance team, especially Jaime, always fixes everything immediately and goes out of their way to make sure all your maintenance requests are completed. The facility is clean and well maintened, the pool is great and the apartments are in good conditions :) my dog and I love it here!

5/5 stars, definitely recommend this place! Only moving because I started a new job and the commute is way too far. This place is perfect if you're working at any of the three studios nearby - they also accept <12 mo leases which is really nice if you have a shorter contract/internship. The neighborhood is super dog-friendly, very quiet, and walkable. Everyone I've met in the building/around is very friendly, I wasn't ever uncomfortable walking at night (note: there are coyotes), and parking is gated and included which is a nice perk. The maintenance team is so great, any issue I had they were there within the day to fix it. I wish I could've stayed!!
