I rarely ever write negative reviews, but this experience definitely warrants one. This was the apartment they expected me to move into after it had supposedly been vacant for at least two weeks. I was PCSing to the area and repeatedly asked them to send me photos of the unit once it became available. Each time, they gave me a different excuse—repainting, installing new carpet, cleaning, or maintenance delays. When I finally arrived in Virginia and picked up the keys to see the apartment in person, this is what I walked into. They fully expected me to live in the unit in that condition. Be wary—there’s a reason the photos on their website haven’t been updated in years. Used to be so great, but ever since new management has taken over, prices have gone way up with zero improvements. Outdated appliances, painted over wallpaper, outrageous water and sewer bills, roach infested, barking dogs day and night, dog feces all over property, broken workout machines, broken down unusable tennis court, walking trails are overgrown with huge holes in pavement. This community used to be so awesome. It is so sad to witness it’s steady decline.

As a residence of this apartment complex for the last 5 years I can say this is not a good apartment complex anymore. The first few years were great and then the new owners came in and it beet awful ever since. Its sad that I can't stand living here anymore.

Hi, I’m new to the community here at The Courts at Yorkshire Downs. My experience thus far has been amazing. Martina has been excellent. She walked me through the process and when I had questions after our initial meet she responded in a timely manner. The neighborhood seems to be a friendly one. Based on my experience I would recommend her services and this community!

I’ve been a resident for a few years and let me say the staff here is phenomenal. Gary, Cody, Martina and Daniel have been awesome! Gary makes signing my renewal lease so easy, he’s always just a phone call away with a smile. Any small issues I’ve had with my apartment Cody and Danny have been very responsive and diligent. Martina has been a great asset to the front office as well. Thank you for all that you all do to make my life a little easier!!!
