Woods At Yorktown

I’ve lived at The Woods at Yorktown for over two years, and it’s truly been a great experience. The community is kid-friendly, welcoming to seniors, and perfect for anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable place to live. The staff is amazing. General Manager Shabazz McNeil is professional, personable, and always makes sure residents’ needs are met. He also brings people together with community events — a rare and appreciated touch. zeta, who runs the resource room, goes above and beyond with programs for kids and making sure everyone knows about food bank support. Maintenance (Big Josh & Little Josh) are quick, respectful, and always happy to help — even offering to remove their shoes before entering! James, the new Groundmen I’ve have seen him picking up trash around the propert

I've been here since May 2016 and there were 3 different property managements that took over. It was so bad I wasn't gonna renew my lease. Until Ms Stephanie and Mr. Rashad came things have gotten better. They are the reason I renewed my lease for another year. Now maintenance issues are getting taking care of. The Woods of Yorktown now feels like a home for me and my kids. My kids come by the office and speaks to them everyday they really love you guys. I am glad they are here. They have really helped me out here.

I read the reviews before coming here,in July '21--been over a year now and I am still GLAD & GRATEFUL to be here, I LOVE IT!! The location, management and maintainence are all a God send!! Any issues are remedied EXPEDITIOUSLY, always w/ respect and care. When I say issues, it' s been replacements mostly--several major (H-VAC, Tank) but not one attempt to do anything but accommodate to my benefit. I was shocked, not having to argue or wait to get done! It has been and continues to be A BLESSING!! Oh, did I forget to say they are townhouses and VERY REASONABLY PRICED? ANOTHER BLESSING!! Intend to stay as long as God allows..He helped me find it!! I highly recommend!!

I have been here for over a year and I have seen amazing things since new management has taken over. Ms Stephanie and Mr. Rashad have done an amazing job maintaining the property. These 2 are the realest property managers I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The respect me and treat me like family and not just a resident.
