Woodridge Apartments

Woodridge is Making it to mandatory to pay rent online. I went to pay my rent and 100 % refused to take it. They said they do not take checks anymore and that I had to pay online when my lease says that checks are fine. Plus there is a $ 24.00 fee for online payments. Don't rent here. I went to the office to talk about being made to pay our rent online. I told her that I will not do that. She had no compassion for the tenants. Just told me that we need to figure out something for next time. She is very mean and unkind. DO NOT RENT HERE NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!.

Extreme poor management. Went downhill rapidly since 2014. Took a major hit in 2017. Management personnel changed 8xs or more. Same as the maintenance. Its a complete nightmare. A major dump. Extremely filthy property, pet waste everywhere. Rude office staff. Only nice to get you to sign a lease. No upkeep of property. Noisy apartments, paper thin. You hear everything 24/7. No peace, neighbors fight, party, no manners. Screaming children unsupervised and run and stomp through the breezeways. It's a complete disaster. Don't waste your money or time. The worst place. Beware!!!! Don't ever move here!! Smoke and pot drifts in through your vents to. Dog poo and pee all over the sidewalk and stairs! It looks decent from the road. Was stuck there 12 years! Terrible management…or should i say non-existent. Guardian mgmt took over a couple months ago and id thought it couldn’t get any worse…i was wrong. There is NO maintenance. Everything is broken. Constant problems around entire property. When residents are finally able to reach office staff, we just get apologies, excuses and more empty promises. Ive lived here over a decade and id move in a heartbeat if i could afford it.

I really enjoyed my stay here till my dryer went out in December of 2024. I have 2 stove eyes out for 9 months. My neighbors have 3 dogs and they pee and poop on the balcony for the last 2 years. I haven't been able to sit and enjoy the balcony for 2 years. and been going to the laundry mat to dry my clothes 7 months. Being on a fix income it's hard to go to Landry mat every week. My only problem has been people not cleaning up after their dogs. I finally put up a camera being that faces my parking spot in order to get it to stop. All the office did was move the person to a different apartment. When GSL had it, they seemed to keep up with the garbage now all it’s doing is attracting rats. But I also know that’s part of the tenants because they don’t put them in the garbage can or they let their kids take it out and it doesn’t make it in the can
