My ex-husband is a current resident and he had a ceiling leak months ago due to the upstairs tenants which resulted in mildew and then mold. He reported it to the leasing office who replaced drywall etc. The mold came back and they once again remediated but the problem is not completed. When you open the door to his unit, you get hit with a putrid odor of mold. He has left several emails and they have done a mold test kit that come back as “normal” and now it’s marked complete. I’m now leaving a review hoping they will fix it because it impacts our son who is a MINOR. His backpack reeks and you can smell the mold and mildew on his clothes and in his hair. This needs to be fixed as it is a health hazard.

When we first moved in, they switched management a week after we moved in, you pay extra for pest control, but you still have to spray your own bug spray because the bugs are horrible. The ceiling broke through on multiple occasions due to the apartment upstairs having super bad leaks and even water came through the wall on to the floor. We also had mold growing next to our front door on the crease of the wall and reported at least two or three times and it was never fixed while we were there, we moved out and the mold was still on the wall. The apartments are very old and need to be updated badly and things internally need to be fixed, but they just paint and replace the floors and appliances instead when someone moves out. I am now updating my review on Woodland Commons. I definitely want to compliment Sylvia, from the Leasing Office. I had a particular situation last week where I was asking if someone at the Leasing Office or Maintenance could help me with. In a matter of minutes Sylvia replied to my email and then went completely out of her way to help me, with the most positive and caring attitude and with the biggest smile. Thank you so much, Sylvia!!! You deserve a raise and a promotion. Also, I can definitely now see the difference between the previous Management (previous owners) and the current one. Overall, things have definitely improved. Thank you!!

Five stars! The property itself is decent, however it's the management that makes me love it here. Silvia in particular goes above & beyond to ensure that my family and I are satisfied. Her caring spirit, enthusiasm, & professionalism are unmatched! She truly makes living here, worth living here!

If I can give them negative stars I would love to. The office never picked up the phone calls or called me back even once. Sooo many roaches in the apartment. My room got a lot of roaches after my neighbor, who live upstairs, moved out. I saw about 10-20 roaches daily. I took contacts to apartment office to do pest control inside of my room; however, they didn’t do anything for 3weeks until I visited the office for 3-4times. So disappointed. And even if you made workorders on online system, they closed without doing any actual works…. My lease ended recently. The last day of my lease was Saturday and the office close on the weekend as you know.
