Winds of Oak Ridge

The rent is great compared to the rest of the town but if you plan on moving don’t unpack, especially if people are dirty in other units you will have to pack everything every two weeks for them to spray for the next 6 months, it gets old plus a big inconvenience that often. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad they spray but it’s not going to do any good with other people living dirty. You can’t have a chair or anything in front of your place to enjoy sitting outside without having to take it in and out all the time. They are cozy inside but the units that have the old hotel ac’s get extremely hot and muggy inside expect to spend a couple hundred for the portable ac units for the extra rooms. I’ve lived at Winds of Oak Ridge for a year, and I couldn’t be happier! The community is peaceful, well-kept, and has a warm, friendly neighborhood feel. The landscaping is always beautiful, and maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally. The office staff is genuinely helpful—they go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and supported. My apartment is spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of natural light. The location is perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and parks, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and private. I especially appreciate how safe and secure the community feels. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and a true sense of home, Winds of Oak Ridge is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

My daughter lived here for several months. We asked numerous time for a copy of the lease to which we were told to just go to the portal but its not listed on the portal. Haley knew from the beginning that she only needed to stay until August at the latest due to college starting in the fall. When she turned in her notice Haley was rude and yelled at her about needing a 60 day notice to which again we couldn't know because she refused to provide us with a copy of the lease. We did everything via esign and was not given a copy. Finally after the 5th time of asking for the lease and being denied she turned in her notice to vacate. We moved on 6/28/2025 and even sent a message to the fact. We cleaned the apartment. We are being charged a lease break fee, full rent, & cleaning. No one will ret

First experience with apartments and it wasn't a good one. On a month-to-month lease and when trying to give 30 days' notice they require a 60 day even though not in a lease. The bugs are terrible and never get taken care of and the mold will make you sick! Its very bad! . There is better places. I'd avoid this one.

Let my start by saying I don't often leave reviews. The building recently got new maintenance guys and they've helped the building a lot. They handle calls as quick as possible and try their best to do it right, or they'll come in the next day and finish the job if you're still having problems. The landlord is also outstanding. She's nice to the residents and handles things quickly. There have been one or two minor problems, but for the most part everything goes smoothly.
