Whiting Avenue Estates

Very outdated for the pricing. Do NOT live downstairs- you will hear everything and I mean everything. Management sucks. They don’t get back to you. Maintenance is your neighbor next door. Only thing kept up on this place is the lawn care. They raise prices way too frequently. VERY money hungry cooperation. Will call you to pay rent before rent is even due. When it comes to this place two words I would use to describe it- bare minimum. Would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else.

This has to be the best apartment complex in Stevens Point. They are always on a waiting list and is completely centrally located between Plover and Downtown Point. Staff is amazing. Neighborhood is very quiet. Been living here 2 years and love it.

We lived at Whiting Ave Apartments for 4 years and didn't have a single problem. In fact, we loved it! It had everything we needed. The management was great. The location was great. The price was great. We would have stayed longer if we hadn't moved out of the area.

Do not rent here. The lawn is well maintained in the summer months, and you have plenty of space in the apartment for storage. Those are the only positives I can think of. Major corners were cut in the construction of these buildings. Sound proofing is non existent. Pray that no one moves in above you that has a dog or is a loud walker. I currently have both and am not able to sleep while the person living above me is awake and walking around (or his dog is barking at night). I made management aware of these issues and told them that I would like to move to a different unit (even if it cost me more money). They're response was that I'm in a legally binding contract and tough luck. I cannot recommend renting here at all! For $755/month for a 1 bedroom, I expect a lot more than wha

The apartment complex is under new management and they are lacking in regards to exterior maintenance. Twice I had to trudge through deep snow. I was alstuck in the parking lot because they take a long time plowing. It almost as if winter surprised them. I’m not impressed. The apartments inside are very nice but they get an F on snow removal.
